Clients are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date contact information and notifying us of any changes to their details.
Appointment reminders may be sent via SMS, email, phone call or other electronic communication methods. Failure to receive a reminder does not remove the client's responsibility to attend their scheduled appointment.
We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments where necessary, including circumstances outside our reasonable control.
3. Appointment Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that circumstances can change and clients may occasionally need to alter their appointments.
Where possible, appointments should be rescheduled with at least forty-eight (48) hours notice. Appointments cancelled within four (4) hours of the scheduled appointment time, or appointments not attended without notice, will incur a cancellation fee of $65.00.
Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may result in future bookings being restricted or requiring payment prior to booking.
Cancellation fees are the responsibility of the client and are generally not covered by ACC.
4. Fees and Payment
Fees are charged at the rates advised at the time of booking or as published by Hibiscus Neuro Rehab. Payment is due on the date of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We reserve the right to require payment before services are provided.
Where an account remains unpaid, we reserve the right to:
Suspend future appointments;
Require payment before further services are provided;
Charge reasonable debt recovery costs where permitted by law; and/or
Refer the account to a debt collection agency.
Any cancellation fees, privately funded services, reports, equipment costs, or services not funded by ACC remain payable by the client.
5. ACC Funding
ACC funding may not cover all services provided by Hibiscus Neuro Rehab.
Any co-payments, privately funded services, reports, cancellation fees, non-funded services or additional treatment costs remain the responsibility of the client unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Clients remain responsible for payment of services that are declined, not approved, partially funded or later withdrawn by ACC.
6. Community and Home-Based Services
Many of our services are delivered in clients' homes, community environments, workplaces, gyms, retirement villages, residential facilities and other external locations.
Clients agree to provide a safe environment for staff and contractors.
Hibiscus Neuro Rehab reserves the right to suspend, postpone or discontinue a visit if staff safety is compromised or if conditions are unsuitable for treatment.
