What is Neurological and Vestibular rehab

Neurological and Vestibular rehabilitation is a niche field of Physiotherapy, focussing on assessing and treating individuals with disturbances of function and movement due to damage or disruption to the brain, inner ear or  nervous system.
It aims to promote recovery and independence and now more recently aims to slow down neurological decline. The primary objective is to improve the quality of life.

Neurological physiotherapists can now be known as neuroplasticity experts, essentially assisting you to reconnect the brain / spinal cord and the body.

The process of rehabilitation is an active and dynamic process through which a person with a disability is helped to acquire knowledge and skills - with the ultimate aim of maximising their physical, psychological and social function.
