Sarah graduated from Auckland University of Technology in 2004 with a Bachelor of Health Science Physiotherapy, she is a member of the Physiotherapy society of New Zealand including the older adults and neurological special interest groups. Sarah has recently completed a postgraduate certificate in Physiotherapy, endorsed in Neurological Rehabilitation through Otago University. Sarah is a qualified Nordic Walking instructor and has completed a vestibular competency based course in 2012
Sarah has experience in working in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom, including the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Queen Square London and the Wolfson Rehabilitation Centre. In New Zealand she has worked for Waikato and Waitemata District Health Board, with experience in orthopaedics, community rehabilitation, inpatient rehabilitation general surgery and burns and plastics.
Sarah started Hibiscus Neuro Rehab in 2012 and is the director and Senior Physiotherapist with the aim of to providing a community physiotherapy service to people on the Hibiscus Coast and surrounding areas. Her passion remains working in neurological physiotherapy and balance and vestibular rehabilitation.
