Lily has always been interested in the human body, both in a physical and mental sense. She graduated with a BSc in Physiology at the University of Auckland in 2014, which then lead her to pursue a BHSc in Physiotherapy, graduating from Auckland University of Technology in 2019.
Lily has previously worked in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, but has always had an affinity with neuroscience, having completed research in the area of stroke and working in the neurosurgical wards at Waikato Hospital.
Lily has a strong interest in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation, having completed vestibular courses for assessment and treatment of various dysfunctions, as well as intensive concussion management training. In addition, she enjoys working with those who have Parkinson’s Disease and takes a weekly PD Warrior class, as well as the Strong and Active class for those who may have experienced stroke or have other mobility needs.
Outside of physiotherapy, Lily loves exploring, training at BFT gym, yoga, reading, ocean swims, coffee and trying out her new skateboard!
